One maker, from first call to final fitting
Bionic Cat Blacksmiths has been forging in Elland since 2015. Every commercial job is made by me, Leon Williamson, so you deal directly with the maker at every stage, with no middlemen and no sales team.
I provide detailed quotations, drawings and method statements, coordinate with architects, designers and contractors, and work to your specification and programme. I hold public liability insurance.

How a commercial commission works
I meet you at your premises or site to understand the setting, the brief and the budget, and to take measurements. You then receive scaled drawings and finish samples, with a fixed quotation and programme.
Nothing is cut until the design is signed off. Each element is heated and shaped by hand at the anvil, then assembled and finished in my workshop, with progress photographs sent along the way. The work is delivered and fitted by me, with minimal disruption to your premises, and I remain on hand for adjustments and future maintenance.
Where I work
My forge is at Bridge End Works, Saddleworth Road, Elland HX5 0RY, a short drive from Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Bradford and Leeds. I carry out installations and site work across West Yorkshire and Lancashire.

I have run Bionic Cat Blacksmiths as a family business since 2015, and every commercial piece is forged by my own hand. I take on a limited number of commissions at a time, so each client gets the attention it deserves, and you will always deal with me, the maker.

Where is the forge and is there parking?
I am at Bridge End Works, 7a Unit 3, Saddleworth Road, Elland HX5 0RY, West Yorkshire. There is parking just over the road.
