A blacksmithing or knife making experience day is the gift that nobody else will think of. They spend a morning or a day with me at the forge in Elland, learn to move hot metal, and go home with something they made and a story they will tell for years. Vouchers are personalised, valid for two years and emailed straight away, so they work right up to Christmas Eve.

Everything is made by hand at my forge and sent from Elland. Order early for Christmas and message me if you are cutting it fine; I will always tell you straight whether it can be done.

Gamers and D&D players: a stack-of-dice coat hook or cabinet handle, or a kraken tentacle stand for a controller and headset. Witches, pagans and Potter fans: a hand forged wand, a crystal ball stand or a troll cross. Vikings at heart: a torc, a horn oil lamp in a forged sconce, or medieval cutlery. Home lovers: dragon claw or rebar knot door handles, kraken shelf brackets, a nautilus bracket, a basket-twist candlestick. Drummers: my cymbal anvil, for tuning and shaping cymbals. Couples: an iron anniversary piece with their date stamped in.
Make it personal
Most pieces can be stamped with initials or a date, carved with runes, or etched. Choose the option on the listing and message me the details. For something that is not in the shop, tell me the idea and I will quote for a one-off: a house sign, a set of fire tools, a bespoke hook rail. Custom work for Christmas needs ordering early, so get in touch as soon as you can.

What is the last date to order for Christmas?
It depends on the piece and where you are. Pieces in stock post within a few days; made-to-order and personalised pieces take one to two weeks. Message me before you order and I will tell you honestly whether it will arrive in time.
Do gift vouchers arrive instantly?
Yes. They are emailed to you as soon as payment goes through, with a unique certificate number, so you can print one or forward it on Christmas morning.
Can a voucher be used for any experience?
Yes. The voucher holds a value, and the recipient chooses the experience and the date when they book. Vouchers are valid for two years.
Do you gift wrap?
I pack every piece carefully in plain, recyclable packaging. Ask when you order if you would like a handwritten note included.
Can I buy a voucher for a group?
Yes. Up to four people can book together online with the group discount applied, and I can arrange larger team days by enquiry.
